Meet Your Instructor:
Jason Georgiades is a multi-award winning commercial video editor, writer and director. A Graduate of Disney's CalArts Film School (Top 25 American Film School, 2022) and trained in Los Angeles, California, his professional credits include Warner Bros., The Hollywood Reporter, Vice and Viceland TV, HBO Films, Burton Snowboards, Lyft and Attn:
Touring film festivals worldwide from Cleveland to Tokyo, his films were sold and distributed by Gunpowder and Sky, 1091 (previously The Orchard) and Gravitas Ventures. He has written and directed two features films (both produced and distributed) and countless short films. His last feature "Beneath the Green" was edited and color corrected using DaVinci Resolve 17.
He is a University ranked Assistant Professor who has taught basic and advanced editing to students from all over the world.

Do I need any experience to get started?
No, I’ll teach you everything you need to know to get started from any experience level. I'll show you how to install DaVinci Resolve for free.
How long will it take me to complete the course?
The course will take you a little over 3 hours to complete as you follow along with each demo.
Can I get feedback on my edit?
While I do not personally critique your work, we do have a private FaceBook group that you will have access to when you enroll for the course. All students and instructors have access to this group where we can share, critique, and talk about our edits. The group is also helpful to answer any specific questions you might have.
